Requirements
Must:
We require you to hold an active Security Clearance (SC) or be a sole British passport holder who has been a UK resident for a minimum of five years to successfully complete all stages of the vetting process. Additionally, you should possess the following essential skills and experience:
- Experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
- Experience working with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD & Jenkins
- Experience with Prometheus or Grafana
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Linux administration and shell scripting experience
- Experience working with AWS EC2, RDS & S3
Responsibilities
As an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will engage in critical projects for our growing SME in the Defence industry. You will apply your technical expertise in configuration management, containerization, and cloud services to ensure our systems are reliable and efficient. Your role will also involve implementing CI/CD practices, monitoring systems using Prometheus or Grafana, and managing infrastructure with Terraform.
Description
We offer a competitive rate of £525 per day (Outside IR35) for an initial duration of 3 months, with the location being Hereford/Bristol and a requirement to be on-site 3 days per week.
