Requirements
Must:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in information architecture, data modelling, and enterprise data design.
- Proficiency in modelling languages such as Entity Relationship Modelling, Archimate, or UML.
- Strong understanding of architecture and data frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA).
- Familiarity with large-scale enterprise and legacy systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Ability to work on multiple complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Experience within the energy, utilities, or construction industries is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-level information architectures.
- Collaborate with business, IT, and digital teams to define data and information requirements.
- Define and mature information modelling and data quality standards.
- Peer-review project documentation, including data models, information flows, and specifications.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and assumptions across projects.
- Contribute to the enterprise information model and information management best practices of our client.
Description
We are a leading global IT Solutions Provider seeking a highly experienced Information Architect to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Information Architect and an array of business and technical stakeholders in the utilities/energy sector. You will design and deliver high-level information architectures that address the complex data needs of major infrastructure projects. Your contributions will help ensure that systems, data, and people work seamlessly together, translating business requirements into clear and scalable information structures. This position offers up to £550 per day, outside IR35, with a 6-month initial contract and a hybrid working arrangement based in the Bristol area.
