Requirements
Must:
I am looking for someone with strong experience in servers, storage (SAN/NAS), networking, and Azure. You should have hands-on knowledge of Microsoft, VMware, or Hyper-V, along with a solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS. It would be a bonus if you have experience with Palo Alto, LogicMonitor, or other security tools. You should possess great documentation habits and a calm, can-do approach.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be designing, building, and maintaining on-premise and Azure cloud infrastructure. You will take the lead on upgrade projects and improvements, ensuring systems are secure, stable, and future-ready. Additionally, you will play a key role in disaster recovery planning.
Description
You will primarily be based in Milton Keynes, with some travel required to Birmingham and occasional trips across the UK or Europe. We offer a competitive package of £48,000 plus a 5% pension, 5% bonus, and 25 days’ holiday (rising to 30), with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days.
