Must:
We are seeking candidates who have experience as a Senior IT Technician or Senior ICT Technician within schools. Ideally, you will have a strong background working in an education environment and possess a good working knowledge of maintaining ICT hardware and software. You should also have experience with networks, including switches, virtual and physical server environments, and backups. Specific technical expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure is essential. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who are friendly, versatile, and capable of communicating effectively at all levels.
Responsibilities
As our IT Manager (Field-based) or Network Manager, you will be responsible for managing school ICT support contracts, providing technical support, and ensuring emergency cover as needed. You will oversee the management, installation, maintenance, availability, and security of both the curriculum and administrative ICT networks, including all related hardware and software infrastructure across several schools.
