Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in user research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Strong understanding of research planning, execution, and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to advocate for user needs and promote user-centred design.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Degree in a related field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology) is desirable.
- Previous experience within government services is beneficial.
- Willingness and eligibility for SC clearance (UK residency for minimum 5 years).
Responsibilities
- Plan and design user research approaches using appropriate methodologies.
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and surveys to gather reliable insights.
- Develop and execute user research recruitment strategies.
- Analyze research findings to extract actionable insights.
- Present and communicate research findings to stakeholders and team members.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure collaboration on user research.
- Advocate for user needs within teams to embed user-centred design.
- Collaborate in an agile environment with designers, developers, and product managers.
