Must:

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory domains and Azure environments
- Experience with virtualisation technologies, particularly VMware vSphere and ESX
- Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices
- Proven ability to resolve complex, cross-functional incidents involving infrastructure, cloud platforms, and modern workplace services
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management (CMDB)
- Advanced analytical skills, capable of interpreting reports across technical and operational domains from multiple data sources
- Familiarity with generative and agentic AI technologies (advantageous)
- Experience working within a shared services model (advantageous)
- Skills in automation and scripting, focusing on deploying processes using tools like PowerShell (advantageous)

Responsibilities
- Act as the operational technical lead for a group of customers, establishing trust and familiarity with their estates
- Support ServiceNow CMDB data quality by advising on configuration item grouping in alignment with CSDM
- Routinely consult with pre-sales and account management regarding CIs approaching end of life
- Maintain proactive engagement with internal delivery teams to ensure understanding of customer context in issue resolution
- Lead operational input into Change processes, representing customers in Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rota for technical leadership during high-priority incidents
- Contribute to root cause investigations and support Major Incident processes with operational insights
- Provide technical governance in reviewing security and penetration test findings
- Act as technical operations representative in customer service reviews, owning follow-up actions
- Advise internal teams on operational documentation needed for customer estates
- Provide customer context to governance reports generated by other teams
