Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of a predicted 2:1 grade in a relevant degree discipline (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Electronic Engineering)
- Demonstrated interest in Software Engineering related to real-time development for avionic systems
- Experience in computer programming with enthusiasm for designing software and writing code
- Familiarity with an object-oriented programming language (C++ preferred)
- Knowledge of UML (Unified Modelling Language) is advantageous but not essential
- Self-motivated with strong drive and enthusiasm
- Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
Responsibilities
- Provide support to real projects
- Apply knowledge gained during studies in a practical way
- Undertake tasks including designing, testing, qualifying, and supporting technology across our product range
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project targets and solve problems
- Deliver small packages of work on time and within budget
- Communicate effectively with team members to share knowledge
- Complete tasks to a high standard in accordance with relevant processes and procedures
- Participate in a presentation at the beginning and end of the placement to showcase progress and achievements
