Requirements
Must:
- Academic qualification in Engineering or related STEM subjects
- Understanding of System Design Specifications and technical documentation
- Experience leading Integration, Performance & System Testing and Acceptance and Delivery Management
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a large, complex environment
- Proficient in Configuration Management and problem solving
- Technical knowledge of Naval Combat System Products (desirable)
- Flexibility to respond to changes in tasking and priorities
- Strong communication skills with management, peers, and stakeholders
- Good understanding of LCM, Engineering Lifecycle, and systems engineering practices
- Experience in budget management and end of month reporting
- Preference for candidates who are already professionally registered as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers
Responsibilities
- Perform Release planning to ensure it stays updated throughout the release process
- Manage and oversee multiple functional teams and stakeholders across various projects
- Create and manage software & system acceptance and delivery plans
- Make engineering decisions within designated authority
- Act as point of contact for customers and suppliers on engineering matters
- Resolve complex problems while maintaining awareness of priorities and objectives
- Perform budget management and provide end of month reporting for projects
