Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical background in MI/reporting development, including advanced SQL (or R/Python) and experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
- Understanding of data architecture, relational databases, and reporting optimisation techniques.
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate honestly and openly, both written and verbal.
- Curious to know why things are done as they are.
- Keen to learn from others.
- Understanding of how to approach a problem analytically and visualise data in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop MI and BI solutions that are intuitive and help users to understand complex data quickly.
- Work with Operational Partners to gather requirements and define KPIs to unlock value from data.
- Rationalise and redevelop our existing reporting suite as we migrate our reporting to Databricks.
- Through insightful BI dashboards, help stakeholders understand the “why” behind performance metrics and drive action.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance across reporting platforms.
- Cleanse and transform raw data to ensure quality and usability and to create a single source of truth.
- Ensure queries and dashboards are optimised for user performance.
- Validate data accuracy and maintain documentation for BI processes.
