Requirements
Must:
- Proven ability to lead people from a technical and cultural perspective
- Proven experience in building scalable and high-performance applications using cutting-edge algorithms and software design
- Enjoyment of collaborating with other engineers through pair programming
- Familiarity with observability, web services, REST, and HTTP
- Experience with containers and cloud technologies
- Understanding of testing, reliability, and monitoring
- Strong knowledge of building and owning applications end-to-end, from inception to maintenance
- Ability to design systems that scale
- Expertise in programming languages such as TypeScript, Java, Golang, Rust, Python
- Extensive experience coding in Go and Java (desirable)
- Capability to identify repetitive processes and automate solutions using LLMs (desirable)
- Experience deploying applications in Kubernetes and analyzing data with BigQuery (desirable)
- Knowledge of the travel sector (desirable)
