Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience designing end-to-end ecommerce platforms
- Proficient in order management and payments
- Experience with integrations (APIs)
- Proven experience working with modern ecommerce platforms
- Knowledge of cloud/SaaS architecture
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a small development team
- Own and continuously improve development standards
- Introduce effective ways of working for improved delivery
- Manage and prioritise the development backlog
- Oversee releases and platform changes for stability
- Own the technical design of the Shopify platform
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions
- Lead integration of payments, logistics, ERP, and CRM platforms
- Identify and reduce technical debt for sustainability
- Drive continuous improvements in platform performance
- Enhance end-to-end customer experience for revenue growth
- Partner with the business to support trading activities
- Present platform strategy and performance to the Board
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on technical options
- Contribute to the long-term platform and technology roadmap
Description
At Golfclubs4Cash (GC4C), we are seeking a Lead Developer to oversee the development of our Shopify-based eCommerce platform. This is a key opportunity to influence the growth of our digital presence. We offer a hybrid working model with flexible on-site requirements, ensuring collaboration and engagement with our vibrant team. The role can be based from any of our locations: Edinburgh, Milton Keynes, Southampton, or Warrington. We provide competitive pay up to £75,000 per year, alongside benefits including a company pension, employee discount, and private medical insurance.
