Requirements
Must:
- Self-starter with experience in delivering research and models to production
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- PhD or MSc in a numerate subject like Machine Learning, Computer Science, or Statistics
- Experience applying, researching, and developing sophisticated NLP models
- Skills in prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs
- Ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient with Python data science stack (pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter)
- Knowledge of LLMOps, model monitoring principles, and associated technologies (Docker, MLflow, k8s, FastAPI)
- Familiarity with Langchain, huggingface, and LLM offerings by third-party vendors
- Knowledge of OO programming and SOLID principles
- Experience with AGILE methodologies
- Familiarity with Databricks and RAG application architecture is a plus
- Experience with latency optimisation and quantisation preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners to identify use-cases for GenAI
- Support the deployment of scalable AI applications
- Work with a multi-functional team to productionize AI services on AWS
- Enhance our tech stack, including MLOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop prompts, fine-tune models, and track results
- Evaluate third-party GenAI and LLM technologies
- Deliver projects from scoping and R&D to production deployment
- Follow and contribute to standards for code quality and model development
- Engineer data for optimal AI performance
- Advise on business and customer impact
- Write production-grade Python code with appropriate test coverage
- Liaise with third-party partners and stay updated on advancements
- Collaborate with data governance and management teams on data requirements
