Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience in backend engineering
- Proficient in Python
- Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless architectures
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Django
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Knowledge of version control tools like git
- Understanding of development best practices including pair programming and TDD
- Strong software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Willingness to work with new technologies and design solutions collaboratively
- Experience with AI workflows using LangChain or LangGraph is a plus
Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in the backend engineering team to build full-stack cloud applications
- Utilize AWS Cloud services with Python and frameworks such as Django
- Apply a serverless-first approach to application design
- Collaborate in an agile team alongside other backend engineers and product designers
- Plan, build, test, and release new features and experiments
- Engage in pair programming and code reviews for quality assurance
- Address challenges associated with large-scale systems and complex datasets
- Work closely with Product, Data, Frontend, Platform, and Security teams
