Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 12 years of CRM experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the public sector or Energy & Utilities Services domain.
- Extensive experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect is mandatory, along with implementation experience in the Salesforce Public Sector Cloud (PSS).
- A working knowledge of GDS (Government Digital Service) is desirable.
- I am looking for candidates with proven abilities to design and optimize business processes and to integrate these processes across disparate systems.
- The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, with a capacity to rapidly learn and adapt to new concepts, business models, and technologies.

Responsibilities
- I need a Solution Architect who can serve as a Trusted Digital Transformation Advisor for our customers.
- You will take on a thought leadership role in the Public Sector/Energy & Utilities Industry, delivering and supporting business process innovation workshops.
- You will lead business process redesign, roadmap planning, and identify touchpoints in multi-cloud implementations.
- Your responsibilities will include assessing customer business requirements, co-creating their future vision for success, and mapping it to Salesforce's solutions.
- You should provide input on customers' target architecture, phasing, roadmap, and transition architecture.
- Your role will involve offering domain expertise and guidance to define solutions for customers on the Salesforce 360 platform.
- You will collaborate with clients to build out their CRM strategy and roadmap, enabling both quick wins and longer-term strategic goals, leveraging the Salesforce Platform and supporting technology.
- You will need to work comfortably with complex business requirements, design, and help configure the desired solutions.
- Collaboration with Technical Architects, Project teams, and implementation partners will be required to determine solution details and the value of the proposed architecture.
- You will review and provide guidance on design and infrastructure blueprints while proactively identifying and communicating potential issues or risks.
- Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and Salesforce solutions, along with competitive offerings, is critical.
Description
The Solution Architect will act as an industry domain expert for Professional Services teams on the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform, particularly within the public sector, energy, and utilities industries. With a broad IT background encompassing business architecture, cloud computing, and the software development process, I expect the Solution Architect to structure the proposed deployment of Salesforce solutions and translate customer business strategies into actionable execution. We seek someone with strong industry alignment and knowledge in the public sector or energy and utilities sector, who can engage in discussions about future trends and challenges while offering Salesforce perspectives on how to address these challenges. By combining industry knowledge with solution skills, the Solution Architect will employ a consultative approach to understand business and technical requirements and assist Services teams in developing and refining a technical sales strategy and Salesforce solution fit. As a subject matter expert, the Solution Architect should have expertise in areas such as business strategy, application architecture, data & information, integration, security, cloud computing, technology, distributed platforms, mobile, and analytics. The ideal candidate will determine which Salesforce technologies to leverage in customer-driven architectures, utilizing Enterprise Architecture frameworks and Salesforce agile methodologies to design specific product roadmaps aligned with business strategies.
