Must:
We require a strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining, along with familiarity with systems development, including the system development life cycle, project management approaches, and requirements, design, and testing techniques. You should have proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration. Additionally, you should be able to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as work with Columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualization, unstructured data, and predictive analytics. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role is essential, along with the ability to lead and mentor other architects. You must possess mandatory skills in at least 2 Hyperscalers such as GCP, AWS, Azure, and have experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Spark, Beam, and data platforms including BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, Pub Sub, Kinesis, MQ, Event Hubs, and Kafka Dataflow/Airflow/ADF. Desirable skills include experience in designing Databricks-based solutions for Azure/AWS, as well as familiarity with Jenkins, Terraform, StackDriver, or any other DevOps tools.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud and Data Architect, you will have 15-20 years of total experience in DWBI, Big Data, and Cloud Technologies. You will be responsible for implementation and hands-on experience in at least 2 of the following Cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks. You will also be expected to have hands-on experience with at least 2 Hyperscalers, specifically in Big Data processing services like Apache Spark or Beam. You will lead technical discussions across industry groups and actively contribute to RfP responses by designing and building solutions. Your expertise in ETL skills, Data Modeling Skills, and the ability to define monitoring, alerting, and deployment strategies for various services will be key to ensuring resiliency and failover solutions.
