Requirements
Must:
- At least 5 years of solid experience in automation tooling and framework creation, specifically with Java and SQL.
- Proven ability to develop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, and test scenarios based on requirements and technical specifications.
- Experience in writing automated test scripts using JavaScript.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, WDIO, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
- Ability to recommend test tools based on an assessment of the environment.
- Experience in defining a comprehensive performance test strategy.
- Background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in Jenkins pipeline creation and management for running automated tests and generating reports.
- Experience with database comparison testing.
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, GCP, and Ali Cloud.
- Extensive experience using JIRA and Xephyr tools.
- Previous experience in Identity and Access Management is preferable.
- Exposure to SailPoint IdentityIQ, data ingestion protocols (SCIM, REST API, LDAP, OIDC, CSV), and testing graph database management systems (GDBMS).
- Understanding of ServiceNow, Active Directory, and AWS/Azure integrations.
- Experience in testing functions and decision points As Code and with GitOps Repos.
- Background in API testing, API Gateway testing, and Batch ETL testing.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and manage engineers.
- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and implementing shift-left testing practices.
- Familiarity with Pub Sub, MQ, and GCP testing methodologies.
- Skill set ideally includes languages/tools such as Java, Cypher, Python, JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Go, SQL Server, MySQL, API, QMetry, Test Rail, BDD/TDD, Jenkins, Postman, and Insomnia.
Responsibilities
- Lead the automation testing efforts and occasionally perform manual testing as required.
- Plan, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web and database applications.
- Accurately report and track testing-related defects and issues, ensuring effective bug reports and participation in triage meetings.
- Conduct test case reviews for coverage and traceability to requirements and design.
- Liaise with business areas and technical leads for SIT, OAT, and UAT scenario definitions as needed.
- Establish performance testing standards, best practices, and governance frameworks across the organization.
- Integrate automation tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline the process.
