Requirements
Must:
- I expect you to have achieved a minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline from a top tier/Russell Group university, supported by A's at A-level.
- You should be a technologist who enjoys collaborating and problem-solving, particularly in complex, distributed systems.
- Expertise in modern C# .Net Core is essential, while skills in Python will be considered beneficial.
- A strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices is required, along with experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- You should possess a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms.
- I’m looking for someone who is excited about joining a start-up and is ready to shape and influence their role.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a small, talented team to deliver the core platform within a Microsoft environment. You’ll utilize the latest versions of C# .Net to produce high-quality code.
- I expect you to take ownership of technical projects, working across the full development lifecycle to understand and fulfill business needs.

- This role is based in our new Central Newcastle offices, where you will work full-time (Monday to Friday) from 09:00 to 18:00, with some flexibility in hours.
