Must:
We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a background in Infrastructure, Systems, or Networking. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CrowdStrike, Palo Alto firewalls, VPN firewalls, and Windows security technologies such as EntraID, DNS, and Active Directory. You should have experience managing WAF and DDoS systems and be comfortable overseeing third-party suppliers or Security Operations Centers (SOC). We value collaboration and pragmatism, along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Security Engineer, I will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security systems and protocols across our IT infrastructure. This includes conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans, mitigating vulnerabilities identified in penetration testing, and implementing preventive measures to protect against cyber threats, particularly focusing on Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Windows Security, and Palo Alto firewalls. Additionally, I will manage our third-party SOC provider.

The position is based in London with a competitive salary of up to £100k per annum. We offer a hybrid work model, with three days in the London office and a professional dress code. Please note that this role operates on a shift basis, either 07:30-16:30 on work-from-home days or 08:30-17:30 on office days.
