Requirements
Must:
- I am an experienced Software Developer/Engineer with a strong knowledge of modern best practices.
- I possess strong Python backend development skills and ideally have C# coding skills.
- I have a good knowledge of AWS.
- I have experience working on highly scalable systems.
- I have a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals such as OOP, data structures, and design patterns.
- I have experience with, or a strong interest in, artificial intelligence and am keen to explore its possibilities further, including knowledge of ChatGPT.
- I possess strong analysis and problem-solving skills along with excellent organization and planning abilities.
- I demonstrate business acumen and have advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Fintech or financial services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- In my role as a Senior Python Software Engineer, I will architect and build highly performant and scalable solutions using SOLID design principles.
- I will collaborate with cross-functional Agile project teams in two-week sprints and advocate for best practices to ensure software is delivered on schedule.
- I will have the opportunity to drive the adoption of AI within the business by introducing new features such as chatbots and exploring AI to make process improvements.
- I will act as an "innovation champion," collaborating directly with the CTO, gaining visibility, and quickly seeing the results of my work.
Description

As a Senior Python Software Engineer, I will earn a competitive package including a salary up to £110k, a bonus (approximately 20%), a pension with a 5% employer contribution, 25 days of holiday (increasing to 27 after two years and 30 thereafter), life assurance (4x base salary), an employee assistance program, and a range of training and career development opportunities.
