Requirements
Must:
- I have strong technical and people leadership skills.
- I possess advanced experience in building cloud-native, distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- I have a solid knowledge of AWS, including Amazon EKS.
- I have experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- I am collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills, comfortable working with other teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In the role of Lead Software Engineer, I will join a fairly new team focused on a new crypto offering. I will split my time between hands-on development and people management (70/30). My responsibilities include setting the technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring code quality, observability, scalability, and security are integrated into high-quality, high-impact releases. I will work with a modern, cloud-native tech stack, utilizing Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, and CI/CD to build highly scalable, distributed systems with 24/7 availability.
