Requirements
Must:
- You hold a degree in Computer Science or a similar STEM discipline from a top-tier university, achieving a 2.1 or above, supported by A's at A-level.
- You possess strong development experience in Java and Kotlin.
- You have familiarity with Agile processes and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- You understand Computer Science fundamentals, including Object-oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Knowledge of additional technologies such as Scala, React, Spring, Oracle, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux is advantageous.
- You are collaborative and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
As a Java Developer, you will collaborate with the Lead Engineer on our core trading platform. Your contributions will be essential as we scale the platform and introduce new features. You will focus on code quality while designing and developing highly complex web-based trading systems, engaging in the full development lifecycle. Our technology stack includes Java 17, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and AWS, and you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set using the latest technologies, all within a supportive Agile team environment.
