Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in modern software engineering leadership combined with Capital Markets business knowledge
- Experience managing multi-stream programmes
- Strong technical background in software engineering with C# or C++
- Knowledge of Cloud-based systems, preferably AWS (EKS/ECS, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, MSK, S3)
- Familiarity with modern tools and best practices, including Snowflake (or similar), CI/CD, DevOps, secure coding practices, and observability
- Advanced leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Degree educated in Computer Science or closely related discipline
Responsibilities
- Manage 6-7 Team Leads with approximately 50 indirect reports, growing to 75
- Lead the AWS-based modernization efforts
- Ensure engineering excellence and architectural alignment
- Oversee delivery and predictable roadmap execution
- Define and scale AWS architectures and modernize legacy services to the cloud
- Standardize APIs, events, data models, and performance patterns
- Drive the adoption of Snowflake and automated technologies for backlog refinement and code quality insights
