Requirements
Must:
- Strong C# desktop development experience on Windows within a banking or financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases
- Good understanding of asset classes, e.g., Fixed Income, Equities
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, UI development, and cloud computing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree educated in Computer Science or a similar discipline
Responsibilities
As a C# Software Engineer, you will work on critical systems across front, middle, and back office functions, supporting trading, operations, finance, compliance, and investor relations. Your main focus will be on building C#, WinForms, and WPF desktop applications, as well as designing and implementing scalable, service-oriented architectures (SOA). You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to web applications using React and/or Angular. In this senior, hands-on position, you will collaborate with colleagues in the US and Canada and be the primary resource for these systems in the UK.
