Requirements
Must:
- Background in a software Product Delivery environment
- Experience managing and leading teams to deliver defined outcomes
- In-depth understanding of agile principles and techniques
- Strong communication skills, liaising with technical and non-technical teams
- Exceptional organizational skills with experience in line management
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including C-Level executives
- Motivated to achieve the best outcomes efficiently
- Experience managing through rapid business changes
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Ability to work closely with other functions such as Product Management and Infrastructure teams
- Track record of successful delivery through agile development teams
Responsibilities
- Head up product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Ensure teams are aligned with technology and product strategies
- Coordinate cycle, release, and sprint planning activities
- Deliver products using appropriate agile project management methodologies
- Lead collaborative planning processes across teams, prioritizing workloads
- Monitor and report on planning cycle progress using Agile KPIs
- Manage cross-domain dependencies within the product suite
- Shape technical requirements for clarity and accuracy
- Facilitate incorporation of broader stakeholder requirements into backlogs
- Foster a culture of innovation and professionalism within teams
- Recruit, develop, coach, and performance manage team members
- Participate in the Product Delivery community to share best practices
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure achievable and realistic delivery timescales
- Ensure teams provide necessary customer support, driving improvements
- Build a technology function with loosely coupled yet aligned teams
- Maintain balance between process freedom and consistency across teams
