Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and strategies
- Demonstratable understanding of testing desktop/service type applications
- Experience with event-based applications and service bus technologies
- Proficiency in coding or scripting practices (C#, Typescript preferred; Java, JS, Python considered)
- Familiarity with testing tools like Jest, Playwright, Cypress, K6
- Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Responsibilities
- Analyze test objectives to design and prepare a test plan that aligns with the test strategy
- Design and build test cases, test scripts/procedures, and define expected results
- Collect, interpret, and develop realistic test data
- Conduct various software test types, including functional and non-functional testing
- Execute test scripts using agreed methods and standards
- Support testing across different levels, including unit, component, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Raise bugs in line with company policy and progress them to completion
- Document and report test results against acceptance criteria
- Communicate status and metrics regarding test activities and results
- Practice continuous self-learning to enhance relevant skills
