Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience designing and implementing cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Proven background in systems or cloud architecture roles
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare, medical devices, pharma, finance, or similar)
- Understanding of compliance, security, and data protection requirements
- Ability to assess and improve existing systems rather than building greenfield solutions
- 5–10 years experience in cloud architecture, systems architecture, or a closely related role
- Prior experience within the healthcare industry is highly desirable
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Galway, Ireland
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to balance innovation with practical constraints
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud architecture
- Take architectural ownership of an existing platform and evolve it for future releases
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external software partners
- Ensure systems meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements typical of healthcare environments
- Define best practices for cloud infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring
- Support architectural decision-making across the software lifecycle
Description
We are Zenovo, seeking an experienced Systems Architect to play a key role in the design, setup, and evolution of a cloud-based software platform within the healthcare domain. Our platform is being developed to support patients in a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the cloud architecture as our product evolves beyond its initial generation, which has been developed in partnership with an external software house. This is a permanent position with a salary range of €70,000 – €80,000 depending on experience, and we are located in Galway, Ireland.
