Lead Data and Machine Learning Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data & Machine Learning Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data architecture and machine learning, along with the following qualifications: - Proven experience in designing and implementing logical and physical data models, primarily using PostgreSQL. - Proficiency in building and managing robust data pipelines to ingest, clean, and unify data from various sources, including APIs and sensors, using tools like Dagster. - Ability to select appropriate storage and processing technologies tailored to the system's needs. - Knowledge of data governance policies and experience ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR. - Strong skills in optimizing data infrastructure for performance and scalability. - Experience in developing machine learning models, especially for time-series forecasting. - Capability to manage data preparation and transformation for model training and evaluation. - Understanding of designing experiments, tuning hyperparameters, and iterating on models to enhance performance. - Experience in deploying models into production environments and monitoring their performance. - Ability to establish retraining workflows and manage model updates as systems and data evolve. - Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project managers and stakeholders to align data and ML capabilities with strategic initiatives. - Experience in gathering requirements and collaborating with business teams for actionable data pipelines, storage solutions, and ML workflows.
