Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an individual with expert-level experience in backend development using TypeScript. You should have a solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (IaC), ideally with experience in Terraform. Proficiency in Git and CI/CD pipelines—preferably CircleCI—is essential. You should also have strong experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development, along with familiarity in agile methodologies, including both Kanban and Scrum. A working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis is important, as well as strong debugging abilities, including the use of tools like Wireshark. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed, multinational team are necessary.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code in TypeScript, with some use of Terraform for infrastructure-as-code. You will design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality AWS-based cloud applications. Additionally, you will lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and fostering their growth within the team. Debugging and resolving complex software issues, including network-level troubleshooting, will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware, support, and production. Lastly, you will champion strong testing practices across the stack using tools like Jest and Vitest.
