Lead Engineer

- I will lead the systems-engineering function, ensuring we define a clear system architecture and integrate hardware with firmware/software effectively. - I will mentor and manage a small team of engineers, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering their professional growth. - I will drive projects from concept through to manufacturing, collaborating with R&D, hardware, software, quality, and operations to ensure requirements are successfully translated into design. - I will oversee prototype builds, establish test plans, and manage verification/validation processes, adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements as applicable. - I will define manufacturing requirements, liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure a smooth production hand-over, and manage pilot builds leading to full-scale production release. - I will establish and maintain system engineering best practices, including documentation like system requirement specifications, interface specifications, test procedures, configuration management, risk management, and change control.
