Lead Developer (Laravel)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer with strong Laravel expertise and a solid understanding of full-stack and back-end development to join our growing technology team in Exeter. This newly created position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the evolution of a modern, scalable platform while leading key projects from concept to delivery. You will help shape the technical direction of our business, drive innovation, and mentor a talented team of developers as they deliver high-quality solutions that enhance performance and user experience. Working closely with our Head of Product, you will take a hands-on approach to architecting, developing, and deploying new features using Laravel, React, and related technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with hands-on coding, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in building elegant, efficient, and maintainable software. We offer a salary of up to £70,000 (dependent on experience), 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), a pension scheme, and an onboarding budget for equipment.
