Requirements
Must:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with C# and/or C++
- Operating systems knowledge (Windows API)
- Desirable but not essential:
- Unity
- DirectX
- Experience of a software multi-threading environment
- Reverse engineering (x86 disassembly)
- Hardware knowledge
- Full stack development work in C#/internet/web/protocols
- MS SQL Server, Blazor applications
Responsibilities
- Development of system software for machines
- Evaluation of new PC systems
- Supporting applications for the machine accountancy systems
- Fault evaluation and rectification during development and testing
- Integration of new hardware peripherals using supplied specs, development kits and communications with suppliers
Description
We are Yorkshire Talent Partners, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior System Software Engineer to join our successful team based in Doncaster. We offer a starting salary of £27,000, a quarterly bonus, 25 days holiday, and a supportive work environment with a casual dress code. Our team works Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours a week, and we provide benefits such as pension contributions and lunch paid for twice per week. This role is 100% office based and is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to develop their skills in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry.
