Requirements
Must:
- Proven track record as a Mobile Developer or readiness to take the next step into the role
- Good understanding of the iOS platform with proficiency in Swift
- Familiarity with best practice mobile design/UX patterns (HIGS - Human Interface Guidelines for iOS)
- Experience releasing a mobile app to the App Store
- Quality-led development focus, utilizing version control, unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD
- Understanding of RESTful APIs for connecting mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of architectural patterns such as VIPER & MVVM
Responsibilities
- Design and code innovative and engaging digital mobile experiences to support corporate sales targets, KPIs, and other business requirements
- Code engaging user interfaces using native technologies to improve customer experience
- Build and deploy mobile applications to accommodate all changes required by the business
- Provide best practice advice on native patterns and development in user-led design workshops and end-to-end journeys
- Liaise with the business to identify, specify, and document development requirements
- Help define the software architecture of new features for existing and future apps
- Create effective information architecture models defining the relationship between the mobile app navigation, device functionality, and services the app integrates with to match customer journeys
Description
We are thrilled to offer a superb opportunity for an experienced iOS Developer to join our growing Mobile App team on a 12-month fixed term. Our team culture is built on collaboration and inclusivity, where we value individuality and strive to create a welcoming environment for everyone. This is a hybrid role, with remote working and some onsite presence in our central Leeds offices approximately twice a quarter. We offer a competitive salary starting from £55,000 to £60,000, along with a range of benefits including a pension scheme, on-target bonus, health benefits, life assurance, generous holiday allowance, and various discounts.
