Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance
- Strong commercial experience with Java and/or Python
- Experience working with Cloud Technologies (Azure / AWS) in production environments
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and containerised deployments
- Experience using Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve backend services and applications
- Take ownership of technical delivery within your area of the system
- Work closely with other engineers, DevOps, and stakeholders in an agile environment
- Contribute to design decisions and help guide less experienced team members
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and fit for purpose
Description
We at MERITUS are excited to support a growing Secure Technical Consultancy searching for an SC Cleared Senior Software Engineer to assist one of our National Security Clients. This hybrid role will allow you to work on a modern cloud-native stack and build and maintain services primarily using Java and Python, with infrastructure managed through Terraform. We offer a competitive salary of up to £80,000, along with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, private medical insurance, and the opportunity to go through DV vetting.
