Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the games or real-time systems industry. You should have strong proficiency in C# and a working knowledge of C++. A solid understanding of random number generation and algorithm design, coupled with a strong mathematical background (A-Level Maths or higher preferred), is essential. Experience in team leadership or mentoring is a plus, along with a track record of creating scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimised code. Clear communication skills are important as you will be working cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the development of backend systems that power modern online slot games. You’ll be responsible for translating game specifications into structured, scalable server-side logic. Collaborating with frontend and backend engineers will be an integral part of implementing and integrating new features. You will work closely with designers and product managers to ensure deadlines and specifications are met. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior and mid-level developers by conducting code reviews and supporting their growth, as well as contribute to improving internal processes and engineering standards.
