Must:
We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. You should have hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL processes, as well as proficiency in Python. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential. You should also have knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and optimization. Familiarity with big data frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop) and an understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices are necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in agile environments are also vital.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and operations. Your role will involve developing and optimizing data models and storage solutions for performance and reliability. You will ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle while collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver effective data solutions. You will implement and maintain infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure availability and minimal downtime, and automate data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes. Staying up to date with emerging technologies and recommending system improvements will also be part of your responsibilities.
