Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics roles.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Azure SQL.
- A genuine passion for problem-solving and data storytelling.
- A degree or equivalent experience in a data-related field.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong client-facing abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
In the role of Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into BI solutions.
- Deliver BI-as-a-service to a diverse customer base to support business transformation.
- Translate business needs into actionable reports, dashboards, and alerts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any data reporting issues that arise.
- Monitor and maintain internal KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with internal information security policies.
Description
This is a permanent, full-time position based in the Midlands with hybrid working arrangements (1-2 days in the office). The salary for this role ranges from £45,000 to £50,000, depending on experience, along with a bonus and benefits package. We are a forward-thinking company in the Utilities sector and are excited to expand our data function with the addition of a Business Intelligence Analyst.
