Requirements
Must:
- Strong ServiceNow development experience, particularly in HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Proven experience designing workflows, request items, catalog items, and approval models
- Experience preparing structured payloads and integration triggers for external platforms (e.g., integration middleware or cloud automation tools)
- Ability to translate HR business processes into technical workflow designs
- Comfortable working with HR stakeholders to shape and refine requirements
- Strong understanding of enterprise workflow design and governance
- Self-starting, delivery-focused engineer
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable embedding within HR teams and processes
- Able to operate effectively with minimal oversight
- Confident working with distributed and offshore teams
Responsibilities
- Design and build ServiceNow HR request forms, tables, and workflows
- Define approval paths, decision logic, and structured data capture
- Ensure workflows prepare and trigger integration-ready events for downstream systems
- Act as a consultative bridge between HR stakeholders and technical integration teams
- Ensure workflows are scalable, auditable, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Collaborate with integration teams delivering APIs and workflow automation
Description
We are supporting a major global engineering and infrastructure consultancy on a significant HR technology transformation programme, delivered through a leading international IT services provider. We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow HR Workflow Engineer to help design and implement HR-centric workflows within ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD). This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong consultative element, allowing you to work closely with HR process owners, IT teams, and integration engineers. This position is fully remote and offers an initial 36-month contract with the likelihood of extension.
