Requirements
Must:
- 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with expertise in credit risk and fraud detection models.
- Strong knowledge of credit bureau data and its applications.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data science/machine learning libraries (e.g., Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn).
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to non-technical audiences and stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and working in collaborative environments.
- A results-oriented mindset, focused on iterating and improving models in production.
- Awareness of AI safety considerations, including bias detection and privacy management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain credit risk and fraud detection models to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with risk management and fraud prevention teams to align models with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze credit bureau and fraud-related data to uncover actionable insights.
- Present complex findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
- Apply machine learning techniques to enhance decision-making in risk and fraud management.
- Ensure coding best practices for model development and deployment.
- Utilize Python and core machine learning libraries for model building, validation, and deployment.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze experiments to improve product features.
- Enhance workflows and methodologies in credit risk and fraud detection processes.
