Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee network architecture for the NHS data centre transformation
- Build and migrate a new Juniper-based inter-data-centre transit core
- Configure, test, and manage high-capacity Juniper DC infrastructure
- Resolve routing, firewall, and resilience issues in a live healthcare environment
- Act as technical authority during build and cutover processes
- Validate high-level and low-level design documentation
- Ensure symmetric routing, resilience, and firewall integrity
Description
We are recruiting a Senior Juniper Network Engineer to drive a critical NHS data centre network transformation. This role is vital in ensuring reliable infrastructure in a live healthcare environment, with a mix of remote and on-site work flexibility. The position is based in Newport, Wales, and requires a commitment that includes planned out-of-hours changes.
