Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a technically skilled Freshworks Consultant or Developer who has a proven track record in delivering Freshworks implementations, particularly with Freshservice or Freshdesk. You should have strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks, such as ITIL, along with practical application within Freshservice. Solid technical abilities in JavaScript and custom app development within Freshworks, REST APIs, JSON, and integration design are essential. Additionally, you must be confident in working directly with clients, running workshops, and presenting solutions. The ability to work autonomously in fast-moving project environments is crucial.
Desirable skills include Freshworks certifications for Freshservice or Freshdesk, experience with iPaaS platforms like Workato or Zapier, and broader ITSM tool experience with systems such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on technical role, you'll be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Freshservice solutions that align with best practice ITSM and ESM principles. Your duties will include building automations, workflows, and integrations using Freshworks APIs, webhooks, and custom scripts. You will conduct system health checks, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop optimisation plans. Additionally, you will deliver technical documentation and support user enablement and training activities. Working directly with client stakeholders is key, as you will be capturing requirements, validating solutions, and ensuring successful adoption.
Description
This is an initial 2-month contract, with the possibility of extension, and the role is remote or UK-based. You'll join a specialist team supporting multiple Freshworks platform projects, ranging from ITSM implementations and global rollouts to service management optimisation and tooling improvements.
