We are seeking candidates with proven experience in SAST/SCA tooling and integrating them into modern development workflows. A strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure SDLC methodologies is essential. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation is required. Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift) and application migration best practices is necessary, along with knowledge of container security, including Docker and Kubernetes. Excellent communication and documentation abilities are key. Candidates must also have demonstrable hands-on experience with Wiz, specifically in cloud security posture management across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

Responsibilities
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will evaluate, implement, and configure SAST and SCA tools such as Wiz, Veracode, Checkmarx, Snyk, and SonarQube. You will integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub, Jenkins, and Bitbucket. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will support the secure migration of applications. Your role will include developing and maintaining documentation, dashboards, and reports for security findings and tool usage. Additionally, you will provide guidance and enablement to developers on secure coding best practices, conduct codebase analysis, identify vulnerabilities, and assist with remediation activities.

This position is a 6-month contract located in Manchester with a hybrid work model. You will be supporting a financial client on a high-impact security initiative aimed at strengthening the application security posture. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the implementation, optimization, and integration of security tooling across the development lifecycle, ensuring that security is embedded into every stage of our CI/CD workflows.
