Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years similar experience ideally within education
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High level knowledge of common user applications and skilled in using Office 365
- Skilled in upholding the quality of school computer equipment, installing new and existing software across the network, supplying technical support for users and resolving technical problems
Responsibilities
- Settle and manage any technical issues that impact operations by providing efficient technical solutions
- Installation and repair of computers with standardised applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving operational problems
- Complete a wide range of technical duties related to the computer network and desktop services, including existing installations and upgrades to these systems (desktop computers, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns and hardware)
Description
We are excited to offer a full-time position as an ICT Technician based in Slough. You will be responsible for the maintenance of all IT hardware and services across school sites and will support the school in improving the standard of their ICT provisions. An enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks will be conducted for this role. We offer a competitive salary in the range of £27,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
