Requirements
Must:
- 1+ years experience in an IT support role (MSP experience highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows 10/11
- Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience troubleshooting end-user hardware and peripherals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Responsibilities
- Deliver IT support to a variety of clients
- Provide both remote and onsite troubleshooting and fault resolution
- Install, configure and maintain Windows desktops, servers and applications
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user provisioning and permissions
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and basic network issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and update ticketing systems
- Ensure support tickets are managed in line with agreed SLAs
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear updates and managing expectations
- Assist with project work including migrations, upgrades and new deployments
Description
We are a well-established MSP based near Aldershot, seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, youll support a diverse client base across the Education sector and local SMEs, offering excellent variety and responsibility. This position presents an opportunity to work across multiple technologies and environments, making it ideal for a technically capable engineer who enjoys a client-facing environment. Our salary for this position ranges from £25,000 to £28,000 per annum.
