Requirements
Must:
- Some experience in a technical support role or relevant experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of desktop operating systems and common desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for learning and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users of varying technical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support to end-users.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line/ second-line technical support to end-users for desktop hardware, software, and peripherals, including troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware and software issues.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment, ensuring they are functioning correctly and securely.
- Respond to IT support tickets and service requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
- Provide basic training and support to end-users on IT systems, applications, and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, and support activities using IT service management tools.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed, including hardware deployments, software installations, and IT infrastructure improvements.
