Must:
We are looking for candidates with a relevant general maintenance qualification and proven experience in the plant rental sector. Ideal candidates will have experience in plant, electrical engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding. You should have the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure, along with strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of excellent customer service. An IPAF CAP (Competent Assessed Person) Licence and IPAF Operators/Demonstrators Licence are preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities
As a Mobile Engineer on our team, you will visit a variety of customer sites in London to perform planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our powered access machines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of powered access equipment.
- Conducting routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products.
- Completing all relevant supporting paperwork in accordance with company procedures.
- Refurbishing equipment and products as necessary.
- Promoting teamwork within the engineering department to ensure effective service delivery.
- Liaising with team members to estimate and advise on repair costs, as well as making recommendations regarding equipment write-offs and damage.
- Ensuring your service vehicle is fully equipped with frequently utilized spare parts.
- Completing daily service jobs electronically and promptly communicating the details to our Engineering administrator.
- Adhering to company Health & Safety guidelines and damage reporting protocols.
- Maintaining maximum productivity in line with company targets.
- Representing the company professionally to customers and stakeholders.
- Prioritizing health and safety in all tasks.
- Carrying out any other tasks as requested by your manager.
