Requirements
Must:
- Background in Process Controls, Automation, E&I or similar
- Experience with at least one major PLC platform
- Exposure to SCADA or DCS systems in an industrial environment
- Understanding of process control networks and industrial communication protocols
- Strong instrumentation and process control fundamentals
- Ability to read P&IDs, electrical drawings and control philosophies
Advantageous (Not Essential):
- Interest in OT/ICS Cyber Security
- Awareness of IEC 62443, NIST or industrial cyber practices
- Experience delivering system upgrades or modernisation projects
- Functional safety knowledge (IEC 61508/61511)
Responsibilities
- Supporting and optimising PLC, DCS, SCADA and ICS/PCN systems
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and modifications (Siemens, AB, Schneider, Mitsubishi, etc.)
- Maintaining and diagnosing DCS platforms (ABB, Honeywell, DeltaV, Yokogawa)
- Updating HMI/SCADA interfaces, alarms and operator workflows
- Supporting system upgrades, migrations and digital transformation projects
- Troubleshooting instrumentation, control loops and automation issues
- Assisting with OT security improvements (full training provided)
