Requirements

Must:
- Strong experience in custom WordPress development (themes, plugins, ACF, Gutenberg) - Solid understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript/jQuery - Experience working with MySQL databases - Strong grasp of website performance, SEO, and security best practices - Familiarity with Git and modern deployment workflows - Proven experience with Shopify (Liquid templates, theme customization, Shopify CLI) is a plus - Experience with WooCommerce and other eCommerce integrations is desirable - Knowledge of Shopify Plus or app integrations would be beneficial - Experience with Laravel or another MVC framework is a plus - Understanding of Linux servers and command line is advantageous - Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for front-end collaboration would be helpful

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain bespoke WordPress websites - Create custom themes and plugins, and integrate third-party APIs - Optimize website performance, security, and accessibility - Collaborate with designers to turn concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive websites - Participate in code reviews, QA, and ongoing site maintenance - Communicate effectively with team members and clients
