Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience working in Appian platform support required.
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar work experience required.
- Deep technical knowledge of Appian Architecture, components, and best practices.
- Experience with Appian Administration, including environment setup, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proficient in Appian Records, Process Models, Sites, Interfaces, and SAIL expressions.
- Expertise in Appian Integrations (Connected Systems, Integration Objects, and Smart Services).
- Strong SQL and database schema knowledge.
- Exposure to multi-tenant or shared Appian platform preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, and Appian Health Checks tools.
- Experience in Process design and implementation.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of integrations, including RESTful services is essential.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and others.
- Proficiency in Shell or Python Scripting.
Responsibilities
- Foster agile relationships between software development and IT operations, establishing and refining Continuous Integration (CI) and automation for key processes, release schedules, and infrastructure designs.
- Perform Appian Low Code Platform Operations.
- Work with the business and development teams to help translate functional requirements to Appian business flows using Process Models, Rules, Expressions, CDTs, and component Integrations.
- Act as technical lead through both design and development for all platform capabilities.
- Maintain the stability and availability of the Appian environment, ensuring continuous operational functionality 24x7.
- Conduct system monitoring and performance tuning, including query performance analysis and engine health checks.
- Manage user access, group structures, and SAML/LDAP integration.
- Review and analyze Appian logs (application-server, query performance, process execution) for troubleshooting.
- Work on scaling, patching, and platform upgrades.
- Participate in health checks, capacity planning, and disaster recovery validation.
- Work on Appian Monitoring and Logging, Appian Health Check reports, Load Balancer, Web Server, Engine and Services Server.
- Responsible for maintaining compatibility/interoperability of the Appian systems with pipeline tools, cloud services, and mission systems.
- Promptly implement solutions in the event of production downtime due to technical issues.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
