Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in Mac OS and Windows OS.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams and manage scheduling tasks.
- Experience with onboarding processes including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Teams).
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Configure all new hire devices (primarily MacBook) and ensure updates and patches are completed prior to onboarding sessions.
- Manage requests, schedule sessions, and send calendar invites for all device onboarding activities.
- Deliver onboarding sessions covering Identity Pass completion, Multi-Factor Authentication, VPN setup, Slack configuration, and device enrollment.
- Lead training for executive assistants and business managers on the onboarding process.
- Provide on-site and remote support for end users via ticketing systems.
- Offer secondary support during Meetup weeks as identified by leadership.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding support processes and expectations.
Description
The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive technical support during new hire onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience across MacBook and Windows environments. This role focuses on device configuration, troubleshooting, and providing white-glove service to maintain the highest standard of client support.
