We are looking for candidates who are passionate about technology and possess a natural problem-solving ability. An interest in a career in IT is essential. The ideal applicant should demonstrate a commitment to high standards of customer service and be capable of diagnosing and resolving a variety of hardware, software, and network issues. Prior knowledge or experience in IT support would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Responsibilities
As an Apprentice IT Technician, you will be the first point of contact for IT queries at our Slough and Langley campus. Your primary responsibilities will include providing vital first and second-line technical support to our staff and students, ensuring smooth operation of our IT systems. You will approach problem-solving logically, escalating complex issues when necessary while maintaining excellent customer service. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, thus supporting all teaching, learning, and administrative activities across the college.
